Abstract

Temanggung is one of the main tobacco supply areas in Indonesia. Every year, Temanggung provides tobacco supplies for large tobacco companies such as PT Gudang Garam. Therefore, PT Gudang Garam, which is located in Temanggung, must make a lot of efforts to increase the work productivity of its workers. Work productivity is very important for a company as a measure of success in running a business because the higher the work productivity of workers, the higher the profit achieved by the company. Factors that can affect productivity include work experience and work environment. This study aims to see the effect of work experience and work environment on worker productivity at PT Gudang Garam Temanggung Tobacco Warehouse. This research is included in the quantitative research with analysis done by multiple linear regression. The population in this study were workers at the Tobacco Warehouse of PT Gudang Garam Temanggung with purposive sampling technique and a sample of 230 respondents was obtained. This research concludes that work experience and work environment either simultaneously or partially have a significant positive effect on the productivity of PT Gudang Garam Temanggung Tobacco Warehouse workers' productivity.
