Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of the existence of Village-Owned Enterprises on community welfare. This research uses the Community Based Research method, in which the research is carried out in several stages, namely: in-depth interview with participants who are key actors in BUMDes, the next stage is conducting Group Discussions based on interest groups in the village, and at the final stage conducted Focus Group Discussion where discussion is carried out by various interested parties. This is also done to confirm the findings in the previous stage. The results of this study indicate the existence of BUMDes undeniably brings changes in the economic and social fields.


Bumdesa was born in an effort to improve the village economy based on the needs and potential of the village. Bumdesa in Bangunsari Village, Pageruyung District, Kendal Regency has not yet been formed. However, if you look at the potential of Bangunsari village, Bumdesa has great potential to be established as an official institution to accommodate the potential and economy of the village. With their potential, all that remains is to establish training on the administration of village-owned enterprises (BUMDesa) in Bangunsari Village, Pageruyung District, Kendal Regency. it is hoped that institutions under the village and community leaders can work together to create prosperity for the community in Bangunsari Village
